The 2016 Grammy awards are going down tonight in LA, which means if you’re looking for anyone who’s anyone in the music industry, that’s where they’ll be. The parties have already started, the threats are piling up (calm down, Kanye), we can’t wait for the ‘did that just happen?’ moments.
Here are 11 things you can expect to see at tonight’s Grammy awards.
1. Taylor Swift Opening the Show
Taylor Swift has been confirmed as the opening act for tonight’s Grammy awards and will likely perform her latest single, Out Of the Woods. In true Swift fashion, we expect a giant spectacle that gives Cirque du Soleil a run for its money. What we hope for is Taylor to address the recently released lyrics to Kanye West’s song Famous, in which he calls Swift a bitch. Kanye, if you’re going to be the worst, you deserve to get called out by one of the biggest pop stars in the world.
2. Kanye West Being Embarrassing
Speaking of being the worst, West is now asking for money on a GoFund me page. He’s also announced that he will not appear at tonight’s Grammys unless he is awarded Album of the Year. Will West show up? Will someone finally ban him for life from award shows? We don’t know, but we are pretty sure that Kanye isn’t done tweeting yet.
3. The End Of Perry V Swift
Of course, Taylor Swift and Kanye West aren’t the only two musicians to feud with one another. Swift has a long history of not getting along with fellow popstar Katy Perry, even going as far as making Perry the alleged inspiration for her song Bad Blood. Perry reportedly invited Swift to her pre-Grammys party this weekend, indicating that the two may have finally buried the John Mayer hatchet. Look out for the two singers being seated close to one another to indicate their updated squad status.
4. The PDA
Couples love showing off the PDA on the red carpet and we expect to see newish couple Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton as the biggest offenders tonight.
5. The Return of Gaga
Okay, so we know that Lady Gaga hasn’t actually gone anywhere, but lately we’ve been seeing Hollywood Gaga. The singer looked downright demure during her Golden Globes win earlier this year. That will likely change with her tribute performance to David Bowie tonight. Gaga inked herself with a large Bowie portrait over the weekend and were pretty sure that’s just the tip of the outrageous iceberg. We can’t wait to see the return of the meat dress loving, giant egg arriving, teal armpit hair Lady Gaga.

6. Adele Tears
Just about every artist that has even looked at a radio station in the past 12 months is performing at the Grammy awards tonight and that includes our beloved Adele. Do we think Adele is going to cry during her performance tonight? No. Do we think everyone watching her is going to cry? Ah hell yes.
7. Bad Gal Riri Returns
It’s been three years since Rihanna released her last album, which in Rihanna years is more like 15. Now the singer has dropped 2016’s ANTI and is playing by her own rules. We mean, she did what she wanted before, but now she’s *really* doing what she wants and we love it. Expect to see a shocking performance from Bad Gal Riri during tonight’s show. Maybe even a surprise appearance from Drake? It would explain his vocal rest this past weekend, where we saw Sting perform at the NBA Allstar Game in Toronto instead of Drake. Actually, no. Were still confused about that one.
8. Weird Collaborations
What happens when you have 60 performers slotted for three hour show? Really, really, really weird group numbers. We live for the weirdness.
9. The Warm Front
The rest of the world may be trying to thaw their eyeballs after two minutes outside, but things will be hot, hot, hot in LA tonight. Grammys are known walking the line between classy and skintastic. We’re looking at you, J Lo.
10. The Kendrick Sweep
Compton rapper Kendrick Lamar is up for an incredible 11 awards tonight. Lamar could be the first rapper to ever win Song of the Year with his track Alright. We’d be more than alright to see Kendrick onstage all night.
11. #OscarsSoWhite
The Grammys have always been able to boast much more diversity than the Academy Awards, but that doesn’t mean Grammy stage won’t be used for social commentary tonight. Expect to see many artists commenting on diversity in media and entertainment during tonight’s award show.
