Ariana Grande’s recent release of Dangerous Women is all that her Arianators can talk about. To add fuel to the fire, Ariana has just debuted a new music video for her song, “Into You.”

The pop sensation’s new video is directed by Hannah Lux Davis and produced by Brandon Bonfigilo, who captured Ariana’s Dangerous Women vibe with musky, ambient lighting, a desert, and the super attractive Chris Brown look-alike, Don Benjamin.

Although Ariana’s “Into You” definitely stays true to her own signature style, we can’t help but see similarities to other popular movies and music videos that we love. Check out what “Into You” reminds us of!

1. “What Do You Mean?” – Justin Bieber

We see the same blue and red mood lighting used in Justin Bieber’s “What Do You Mean?” in Ariana’s “Into You” when her and Don are playing cards in their motel room. Similarly, Justin and his “What Do You Mean?” love interest were also canoodling in a dingy motel room in his music video.

2. “Bound 2” – Kanye West

Similar to Kanye West’s “Bound 2” video, the “Into You” video features her riding on the back of her love interest’s motorcycle on an empty desert road.

3. “Teenage Dream” – Katy Perry

“Teenage Dream” and “Into You” carry many similarities when it comes to hair blowing in the wind, carefree partying, and road trips with bae. In fact, we see the same, running-into-the-motel-room shot in both music videos.

4. Spring Breakers

“Into You” reminds us of the racy, 2012 film Spring Breakers because it involves carefree young adults getting caught up with the typical bad boy archetype. In the video, Ariana plays an innocent girl who seems to be drinking and partying for the first time—similar to the storyline of the Spring Breakers girls.

5. “We Found Love” – Rihanna

Just like “We Found Love,” “Into You” follows a young couple as they party and run wild together. In terms of videography, both music videos have a similar tinted, washed out look to them.

6. “Knock Me Off My Feet” – Dan Talevski

Just like “Teenage Dream” and “We Found Love,” “Knock Me Off My Feet” bears similarities to “Into You” with its washed out videography and the theme of two adults, young and in love.
